Will the site go down during the move?
First I move a copy and check it on the new hosting. Then we agree on switching the domain. If new data intake has to be paused or some functions stopped for a while, I’ll warn you in advance.
The domain is registered to my developer. Can I get it back?
I’ll check who the domain is registered to and which procedure the registrar offers, and help prepare the request and documents. Whether a transfer is possible depends on the parties’ rights and the registrar’s rules.
